Who are we?

Mike & Jess

Mike is the computer guy, at work and at home. He was introduced to geocaching by a fellow co-worker at a company picnic and was hooked instantly. Before buying his first GPS he would use google earth to check out the location of caches and try and find them without a GPS. He found a few, but it was hard work, fun! but hard work! It wasn't long before he was researching and picking out his GPS. Mike takes the GPS everywhere, biking, kayaking, road trips, if there's a cache where he's going, he knows it. Mike's passion is in the numbers and the extreme caches. He has his eye on a few extreme but just hasn't had the opportunity to take the time and make the trek, soon they will get crossed off the to do list.

Jess is a stay at home mom and the driving force behind Up North Tracks. She too was hooked instantly on geocaching. She loves trading items, you never know what your going to find next. Her days are spent playing with Cohen, doing the behind the sceens stuff for the website, and when she can squeeze in time, geocaching.

Cohen is our face of geocaching. You might not remember us, but you will always remember Cohen. He smiles at you and pulls you in, your hooked on him! Cohen attended his first geocaching event at 2 weeks old. As soon as he was big enough he started to ride in the backpack carrier. He loves it up there on Daddy's back, he can see everything. For his first birthday we got Cohen a Birthday geocoin. We hope to have it return to us when he is 5 so we can show him all the places it has been and he can hold it in his hand.
